First of all I want to say wonderful blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to
ask if you don’t mind. I was interested to know how you center yourself and clear your mind
before writing. I’ve had difficulty clearing my
thoughts in getting my ideas out. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15
minutes are usually lost simply just trying to figure out how
to begin. Any recommendations or tips? Cheers!

Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m glad you enjoy the blog. As for your question, I completely understand the challenge of clearing your mind before writing – it’s something many of us face!

One technique that helps me is to start with a few minutes of deep breathing or a short meditation to calm my thoughts. This helps to center myself and create a clear space for ideas to flow. After that, I try not to put too much pressure on the first few sentences. Instead, I let myself write whatever comes to mind, even if it’s just a rough draft. Often, once I start, the ideas begin to take shape, and I can go back and refine the introduction later.

Another tip is to break down what you want to say into simple points or bullet points before you begin writing. This helps structure your thoughts and makes it easier to get started.

Hope this helps! Happy writing! 🙂
